Undetectable 6 months and compliant = sexually non infectious. If a person is on meds this point is moot. Even with concurrent STI, even with detectable VL from blipping. HPTN 052 final results, 10 year study, 4 infections out of 1724 in TEN YEARS of follow up. That is 99.8% efficacy. The 93% published includes infections from people who were not yet virally suppressed less 6 months on meds PARTNER zero infections at interim release. If poz guy is bottom that 0% is statistically solid.
I have been an RN for 18 years abd have seen many people die from Hepatits C and few from HIV. The sentences for HIV are excessive and ridiculous. Hep C infection needs to be addressed in a similar manner.
The stigma here in S.C. is unbelievable. I've seen on social media where I'll get a message telling me that they are also Undetectable or Poz but when I read the profile it states they are Neg which tells me they are hiding and maybe putting others at risk or understanding the repercussions from their actions. When I ask, I'm blocked. I'll have to share this topic with my support group. #endthestigma #knowyourstats #shareyourstats

I have been poz for 5years,the first thing I tell potential partners, I am poz,at least give a person a choice,what if a person can't tolerate h.i.v. meds,living with h.i.v is no walk in the park,30 years is ridiculous,but know the laws of the state,oklahoma where I live extremely conservative,you will be procecuted,i only deal with h.i.v dating sites,quit setting yourself up to go to jail,here in the red states,they are still anti-gay,be aware of your state laws.

The state of Missouri is now routinely prosecuting people without any reason to believe they ever caused an infection. Shouldn't the UN get involved at some point?
Response to Mack jones comment. You see it all the time on the hook up sites. No one reads the ad, they just look at the pictures. They miss the hiv+ or POZ in the postingor just completely reject you because you were honest.But they will believe a total stranger if they say they are negative

why arrest us ?? just because we are hiv poz dosent mean we do any crimes.. are we killing anyone... ??? no so i dont get with putting us in jail for absolutly nothing...
