I remember as a child when the Moral Majority demanded that government step in and protect us from the damnation of personal freedom. Weinstien, I guess you're the new Falwell, another megalomaniac who thinks nothing of using our precious public resources for his own self aggrandizement. Hopefully Larry Flint will once again be the hero that protects our freedom from the likes of you.
At the risk of being non-PC, I have to say that it is each person's choice whether or not to use a barrier during sex. The question I would raise is, "are Flynt's performers/employees allowed to use condoms? Are condoms provided?" Beyond that, it's their choice (possibly in concert with the person they are 'performing' with.) Is this something that HIV/AIDS activists, or courts, really need to spend time with?
This is politically-correct bull. People have sex bareback - and demanding that a company police whether or not their stars choose to be safe or not is their own choice. This "not-for-profit" (bullshit) needs to pull their head out of their ass and stop trying to enforce a police-state mentality.
The use or non-use of a condom should be a matter of choice between consenting adults--not the mandate of the state via the nanny statist Aids Health Foundation.
OK, Can you say Nanny State? Excuse me, but being in a porn is kind of an occupational hazard on many physical and emotional levels. I say if you are performing porn without a condom consensually with others that is a choice--to get something from others, or change your career. This another example of redicullous activism from flaky land that detracts from the fact that people have bigger problems than wheather to do porn--with or without a condom as a career choice. Redicullous!
Older Not Wiser
Most of the new gay porn movies have complete use of condoms. Older films are noted as "bareback" or "Pre-AIDS". It's much better to have fewer new infections and people learn from watching. You can't smoke a cigarette on TV and it is incorrect to do it in a movie, unless it's a Spanish Language movie.
