99% of talk about HIV revolves around prevention. In the years since I've been diagnosed, I've seen the collapse of drug assistance, increasing criminalization, growing stigma and segregation whitewashed as "sorting". Poz people are now dying en masse, but not from HIV. Meanwhile, new infections have held steady. If people question what's up with all that, we're reasonable. The least we should hope is that POZ magazine concern itself with POZ people. This magazine has really gone downhill.
Tom - I am a positive person, since 1995. I give a sh!t about POZ ppl, and I give a sh!t about HIV-negative people. You can do both. Really. POZ does too. Most of their coverage is directed to us, ppl living with HIV. Lot's of good reading.
That's great. Can we actually talk about issues that affect poz people now? God forbid anyone, even ourselves, might give a sh!t about people who are already positive.
a great article from 2 major HIV-Prevention innovators exploring difficult research issues. glad to see that the groundwork is being laid down for a truly expansive Prevention arsenal!

Tom - So people with HIV should not be concerned with prevention? As a person with HIV, I sure as heck care about preventing anyone from having to live with this virus. And have you actually read the site or the magazine? Most of the content is about people with HIV.
