But will these drugs also work in the brain, and can we control virus in the brain if they do? What's frustrating about cure research is that it pursues paths long after they've become obvious dead ends. For instance, look no further than the years we wasted testing "treatment intensification". We already know HIV lives in the brain, and we already know current therapies don't work there. Address this, or all these plasma studies are just a waste of tiime.
