Doesn't that fly in the face of the Swiss (or Swedish) study that found that people with undetectable viral loads were of virtually no risk to society so long as they maintained their undetectable status?? In the Chinese case, I am suspicious not just of noncompliance but of the quality of the healthcare and everything else that touched this sample pool. Sorry, but I think rest-of-world evidence demands a harder look at the Chinese study's background, moreso than scrutiny of ARV therapy.

Its been a while since my college stats class, but a 40% reduction in infection certain seems worthwhile for me.

So what is the alternative? Maintain high viral loads and assure the partners remain in their most infective state? Think people!
