Jeton, the researchers weren't comparing posting on facebook to rape and assault. They are using feedback they received from gay men in Atlanta. Instead of attacking the researchers with hostile commens, why not offer something constructive?
idiots. i suppose Atlanta must be a Shangri-La for HIV+ gay men...we can abuse whomever, and nobody abuses us there....riiiiiight? btw, of all the types of "violence" broke down into those five categories, why the hell does it all add up to only 60% ?? what exactly constitutes the 40% remainder? "Dark Violence", lol. also, few things r as trite and supercilious as comparing rape and assault to "he kept posting on my Facebook!" double lol.

Chris, when researchers so casually muddy the investigation of a serious social concern (domestic violence among MSM) with poor organization and faux empathy, they'll be ridiculed. let these fools make some forthright editing decisions (with disclosure) instead of bothering us with nonsense about Facebook, etc. let them also acknowledge the comical skew with which their report omits ANY mention of violence and stigma toward HIV+ ppl! sometimes being constructive involves demolition at first. ;-)
