Rather than reinventing the entire healthcare system, maybe we should demand HIV meds fall off patent as scheduled. Last time I checked, 2/3 of Atripla was supposed to be off patent, which should've reduced treatment costs to just a few hundred bucks a month per patient. We're always going to have a target on our backs when maintenance meds cost $3000 a month. Easier to enforce existing rules to reduce costs than make new ones. But that might piss off Poz's precious pharma sponsors.

How about the limitations on 90 day supplies of meds. I don't like using mail order. I have been forced to spend more out of pocket to keep a small supply on hand when the mail order pharmacy screws things up! Let my use my local pharmacy for my 90 supply!
