amazing. they must have an incredibly virulent strain of hiv to defy the padian study findings on hetero transmission. there must be something else going on here unrelated to a single virus. PNG is ripe for colonization however and this will no doubt have an impact on the islanders health and indigenous practices land theft and inheritance traditions... disease is a good way to dismantle an existing culture destabilise it and colonize for strategic interests - industrial and military.
