If the author(s) of this article would have done more research on the subject, they could have found that a dietary supplement is not a dietary supplement is not a dietary supplement. There has been much research information warning people to pay particular attention to the Brands that they purchase. A lot of people know nothing about the Brands that can be trusted, which supplements to avoid with other supplements, etc. etc. The same applies to OTC meds.

And don't you think that if this 'story' had been published by sane people, or by people who cared about our health, they would have told us WHICH supplements were involved so that we might be able to protect ourselves? But neither you, nor the abstract, nor the press releases bothers. Apparently it's easier just to vilify all supplements.
