HIVer inmates won a civil suit against Alabama’s Limestone Correctional Facility on May 21, when their poor medical conditions were deemed cruel and unusual punishment.

First Daughter Barbara Bush interned in Botswana and Uganda this summer through Baylor College’s Pediatric AIDS Initiative, helping kids cope with HIV stigma.

On May 20, the FDA barred gay men and intravenous-drug users from donating sperm because of the groups’ at-risk HIV reputations.
