But point your MD to a new SUNY Downstate study finding that black guys over 40 with HIV had lower levels of cancer-diagnosing Prostate Serum Antigen (PSA) than their neggie black peers.  SUNY docs don’t know why—imperfect immunity? HIV meds? low testosterone?—but the bottom line is, this may make it tougher to spot prostate cancer early in positive men of every color.
