Female Trouble II

by Cindra Feuer

A Thai study found that vaginal cleansing, drying and even "tightening" products can up a woman's risk of HIV infection. Rural woman and sex workers use herbs and chemicals so that when their men bring home the bacon, it's a tidier, better fit. The foreign substances can cause abrasions or infections in the reproductive tract leaving the women more vulnerable to STDs.
