Dogs were dogged in a UC Davis survey to determine which really is man's best friend, cat or canine. Out of 60 men with AIDS, more preferred kitty companionship despite their reputation for being cool and aloof. Experts reason that dogs are too high maintenance. Men declining in health found pussies to have purr-fect bedside manner -- but check with doc about toxoplasmosis!
