Babes in Tube-Land

On a January episode, ER -- yes, it's still on -- got hip to the DL when a young black rapper, his "friend" and his girlfriend came in after a bar fight and got tested for "the high five." Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) tried to educate fellow docs on the rapper's down-but-not-out way of life, but a colleague still asked, "So down-low means in denial?"...The tribe has spoken: At season's end, Survivor Africa contestant Teresa shared tearful details of her brother's death from AIDS and runner-up Lex won an SUV -- with the condition that he help deliver HIV meds to a local clinic that prevents mother-to-child-transmission. Meanwhile, producer Mark Burnett took a seat on the board of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, while host Jeff Probst taped PSAs plugging the group for CBS.
