Some trends are better left unfollowed. Take the newly dubbed "disconnect syndrome" -- when both your viral load and your CD4s are going up, up, up. The quandary? While rising virus signals "failing" treatment, climbing CD4s show an immune boost. Docs are debating whether or not switching combos is wise. Our vote: If virus is at a stable 10,000 or less, the regimen ain't broke.
