Face It:

by Anna Monroe

Switching from a PI to Sustiva won't undo lipo from face, arms, legs or butt -- if you keep taking the nukes. So finds a recent study from Spain in which 41 HIVers with facial wasting ended up with more fat loss one year after the switch. No surprise for Cornell Med's Marshall Glesby, PhD, who theorizes that nukes, especially d4T, are worse for wasting than PIs.
