Add blubber to the list of HIV's hiding places. So say French docs who've stumbled on virus in belly flab. The finding, though a first, shouldn't shock, since fat cells have HIV-friendly CCR5 receptors. The real questions now: Does the virus replicate there? And: Is this why, as AIDS guru Robert Gallo asks, "some people with HIV lose fat"?
