Her So Good

by Anne Jacobson

Despite its ho-hum title, the new federally funded Guide to the Clinical Care of Women With HIV is the best bet for the bedsides of wise gals and those who love ’em. The 508-pager is billed by its government makers at HRSA as a must-have for better women’s care. Don’t expect just the usual pregnancy chapter—the guide covers concerns both cultural and gynecological. The girl on the go can get one free by e-mail, womencare@hrsa.gov, or by fax, at 301.443.0791.
