It’s been 17 years since the Red Hot Organization first packed a recording studio with pop icons crooning AIDS prevention. Now, after benefit CDs like Red Hot+Blue and Red Hot+Country, it has reheated its 1997 classic, Silencio=Muerte: Red Hot+Latin.  In an iPod (red or otherwise) culture, can the brand still rock the playlist? Says producer Tomas Cookman, “Any way to bring HIV/AIDS back into focus is positive.” Replay that.
