Fat Chance

by Cindra Feuer

Lush life and lipo? A Mass General study found that spirits can raise cholesterol levels that promote lipo. And polyunsaturated fats and low-fiber diets cause insulin resistance, another lipo-linked metabolic disorder. Looks like if you control your boozing and eat more like a rabbit, you up your odds in the fat-redistribution lottery. More studies are needed to see if behavior mod really works.
