Gay Pride
Events crescendo nationally this month. Most of them have AIDS
tie-ins. We salute the PRIDEFest at Sloss Furnace in Birmingham, Alabama—a state otherwise known for poor HIV care—on June 10.

National HIV Testing Day
The 10th annual event is sponsored by the National Association of People With AIDS. Urge friends to get tested; find a convenient testing site near you by searching the AIDS Services Directory at POZ.com.

July 19-22
Red Ribbon Ride
Pedal like hell to help the Minnesota Red Ribbon Ride  beat last year’s tally of $690,000. Cyclists will set off from the Mall of America for a 300-mile tour. www
