ABC Tackles 'AIDS in Black America'

August 23, 2006—ABC airs “Out of Control: AIDS in Black America” tomorrow night at 10 p.m., a special Primetime edition featuring interviews with politicians and clergy, including Reverend Jesse Jackson, that tries to explain the epidemic’s scourge among African Americans. It was the last project that the late Peter Jennings worked on before his diagnosis with cancer; reporter Terry Moran took over after Jennings stepped down.
