Iran’s Brisk Trade in Miniskirts and HIV

Iranian shopkeepers commonly trade discounted clothing for favors from sex workers, The Guardian reports, helping fuel a rise in HIV infection rates nationwide. A new drive to educate merchants about safer sex also aims indirectly to boost condom usage among sex workers.
