Small State, Big Problems

Seventy noisy AIDS advocates converged on the Rhode Island State House today to protest nearly $1 million in proposed funding cuts to state AIDS services. The governor is scheduled to release his state budget tomorrow and the Community HIV and AIDS Mobilization Project (CHAMP) plans to take further action if he slashes AIDS funds.
