Drug-Resistant Strain in Seattle

Four gay men in Seattle have been diagnosed with a highly drug-resistant strain of HIV since late 2005, leading experts to believe that these hard-to-treat viruses are becoming more common. Twelve other strains of drug resistant HIV have been identified in Seattle since 2000, though most had developed less resistance than this recent discovery.
