The CDC Fights AIDS In Black America
The Centers for Disease Control has launched a new plan to fight HIV among African Americans after releasing findings that they accounted for 51% of new HIV infections between 2001 and 2005. The new strategy aims to improve testing and outreach strategies, make them more widespread and mobilize parts of the black community that have so far largely ignored the epidemic.
