Mid-Life HIV Crisis Among Gay Men
New York City’s Gay City News examines why the highest rates of new HIV infections in the region occur among gay men ages 35 to 49, who managed to get through the ‘80s and ‘90s HIV free. The article calls on prevention campaigns to address mid-life gay men, who may have lost much of their social network to AIDS and may feel invisible and isolated.
