Eat Your Vegetables

Having observed that HIV meds don’t work as well without proper nutrition, Kenya’s Academic Model for Prevention and Treatment of HIV/AIDS is growing food for its clients in addition to serving up meds, the Wall Street Journal reports. Meanwhile, the government in Botswana is encouraging farmers to establish HIV/AIDS committees to raise awareness about the virus among their often isolated communities.
