Public health officials in the city of Seattle and surrounding King County are launching a new HIV/AIDS awareness campaign for Spanish-language television and radio programs in order to address rising rates of infection in the Latino community. In King County, Latinos are 89 percent more likely to receive a delayed HIV/AIDS diagnosis than white people.
