Tracking HIV Transmission Through DNA?

Australian Health Minister Tony Abbott is backing an investigation into the possibility of mapping a genetic profile of HIV in order to track HIV transmission in criminal cases, according to The Age. New HIV infections in Australia have jumped 41% since 2000 and there have been several high profile criminal transmission cases.
