Sexism-Busting Comix in India
The Population Council is distributing 250,000 color comic books in four Indian cities to tackle sexism and violence against women and fight HIV infection. The pocketbook-sized comic books, aimed at men between 15 and 24, challenge traditional ideas about manhood that put women at risk for sexually transmitted diseases and violence.
