The AIDS Healthcare Foundation is criticizing the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America for successfully lobbying for language in the Food and Drug Administration Revitalization Act that criticizes generic production or importation of patented drugs by certain countries. The move follows recent Thai government decisions to allow generics of some HIV and heart medications.
