Pediatricians Rethinking Circumcision

The American Academy of Pediatrics is reconsidering its neutral stance on circumcision in the wake of studies that suggest the procedure can reduce HIV transmission by 60%. If the AAP decides to endorse circumcision, it could impact health care coverage of the procedure, including Medicaid policies.
