Steps to a Cure?

Scientists have created an enzyme that can remove the HIV virus from an infected cell, with hopes that the discovery might one day lead to the development of a cure. The researchers caution, however, that creating the enzyme is just a small step toward creating an actual treatment that can be used in patients.
