The Most Powerful Condom on Earth

Monday, September 26, 2005—On the heels of Bill Clinton’s trip to China two weeks ago, where the Clinton Foundation currently sponsors AIDS treatment programs, a Chinese rubber company released condoms under the brand names Clinton and Lewinsky. A company spokesman told U.S.A. Today, “The names we chose are symbols of people who are responsible and dedicated to their jobs.” He added that the magnanimous, AIDS-fighting ex-pres should be a comrade of the condoms since they promote safe sex as an effective way to prevent HIV. The company plans to hand out 100,000 free C & L condoms to raise consumer awareness.
