The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has given Zimbabwe $84 million to help the country achieve its plan for universal access to antiretroviral (ARV) treatment by the end of 2012, according to a Global Fund statement. The funds will provide ARVs to an additional 10,000 people, which brings the total number to 203,440 Zimbabweans on treatment by the end of the year.
