Russian Syringe Stabber on the Loose!

November 8, 2005—A Russian man sticking strangers with a syringe has been menacing the citizens of Ekaterinburg, feeding a national panic about intentional HIV transmission. The attacker last struck on Sunday night, jabbing a woman in line at a drug store—the fifth of the stabber’s targets tested for HIV so far at a regional AIDS center.
