Drug Trials End Sooner

November 11, 2005—Pharma companies are ending successful drug trials earlier than they used to and then failing to report “relevant information” about drugs released onto the market, according to the Journal of the American Medical Association. Twice as many drug trials are halted early, compared to ten years ago, say the Canadian researchers, without scientifically proving that a drug’s data are valid.
