London Man: I Beat HIV

November 14, 2005—A 25-year-old Scot named Andrew Stimpson wowed the British press over the weekend with his claim of having completely cleared his body of HIV. Health officials responded by urging Stimpson, who tested negative in 2003 about 14 months after testing positive, to undergo further tests.
