Britain’s Drive to Deliver Condoms

March 3, 2006—Britain may slash the tax on condoms and other contraceptives from 17.5% to 5% to promote safer sex. The move comes as a cabbie condom project called Safe Ride Home prepared to spread from three to ten cities; Radio Cab drivers electing to pack their glove compartments with latex have distributed over 60,000 condoms since last summer
