Meth Madness in the Rockies

March 16, 2006—The Denver Post reports that 21% of local HIV positive men use crystal methamphetamine and 11% of the city’s men who have sex with men (MSMs) say they use it—twice the national rate among the general population. Meth appears to have contributed to the city’s rising HIV infection rate, which is up 50% since 2000.
