AIDS Conspiracy Theories Are Hot in Texas

March 27, 2006—About 30% of African Americans and 22% of Latinos in the Lone Star state believe that HIV is a government conspiracy to kill minorities, according to a report in the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. The study also reported that this belief coincides with a reduced likelihood of condom use.
