HIV Disclosure: Don't Axe, Don't Tell?

One summer night Down Under, Gary Michael Dolan and his stepmum were drinking and jawing as usual when he decided the time had come to tell her he had HIV. Her response was very disappointing. So, after draining a bottle of rum, Dolan took revenge and axed her to death. And this week he was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison. The moral? While navigating what can be the killing fields of HIV disclosure, look out for buried family resentments—and hold the cocktails. More from NEWS.com.au...
