Teen Blues and Risky Sex

July 11, 2006—Sexual experience plus depression equals risky sex in teenagers, according to a new study that evaluated 4,152 adolescent boys and girls across the U.S. for a year. Depressed teens were more likely to engage in sex with multiple partners and without protection against pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
