In 2006, HIV infections in Germany rose by 7.4% from the previous year. German tennis star Michael Stich’s foundation took a swing at the problem—by serving up female-centric prevention ads this spring. One featured a topless blond in black lace and high heels performing fellatio on a gun. Some critics call the ads sexist—to a fault.
