Shalala's an udder shame
As health secretary Donna Shalala donned
a milk moustache to promote a healthier America, Clinton's AIDS
council had a cow, publicly mooing her -- and the prez -- for
"political treatment of a public health issue that is killing
people." Fed up by the dairy queen's refusal to fund syringe swaps,
in March the council unanimously voiced "no confidence" in the
administration's commitment to prevent new HIV infections.
