Congress is set to finalize plans to slash Medicaid by $8-10 billion this month. Each state will decide how to budget the misery, but brace for:
Copay, deductible and premium increases
Fewer covered AIDS drugs, such as those for neuropathy and depression
Reduced prescription coverage for HIVers receiving other disability benefits
