Shame on the HIV Travel Ban
It is ironic that that the President was so keen and quick to go to action in making war on those he perceives as being a threat to the freedoms and ideals that the U.S. hold so dear. It is a shame that it has taken him so long to address the same values to people with HIV.
Incidentally, I read somewhere that there are only 10 nations in the world that have a similar ban: Russia, South Korea, the U.S. and the rest being Middle Eastern countries…. He’s fighting regimes that actually share this common value with his own country.
No nation or country is as wonderful as they would like you to believe, but if you are going to blow your own trumpet about being the land of the free, first of all make sure you truly are.
