POZ's Third Annual AIDS Walk Fundraiser

POZ is pleased to announce our third annual fundraiser for AIDS Walk New York, Love Out Loud, is Wednesday May 14 from 5:45 to 8:00 pm at Prohibition in Manhattan. Good friend to POZ, Ilene Kristen of One Life to Live is performing again this year with musical hosts, Tremors.  Participation includes many local celebrities most notably, Marj Dusay, the accomplished actress who lost her son, Randall, to AIDS in 1993; Mark Dobies, who appeared in Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart; as well as tireless devotees to many charities, good hearted Amanda Baker, Melissa Claire Egan, Thorsten Kaye, and Billy Miller, of All My Children BethAnn Bonner, Kamar de los Reyes, Kristen Alden, and John-Paul Lavoisier of One Life to Live; that Optimum guy, Matt Walton; As the World Turns ' Luke, Van Hansis,  who will be joined by cast mates Billy Magnussen and Wolé Parks as well as Jack Mackenroth and Kevin Christiana from Project Runway and not in the least, Law & Order: SVU's Christopher Meloni - there are few who are more generous. Event organizer Giovanni Vitacolonna, POZ's circulation supervisor, says, "It is very gratifying to see the response from the local celebrities who have lent their names to a cause and the response from fans who have traveled far and wide to be here."
