Mozambique Treatment Is Too Far to Travel

Rural Mozambicans often stop taking HIV meds because it costs too much to get to urban treatment centers, according to a new Doctors Without Borders study. Researchers found that many who had dropped their regimens for travel reasons were resorting to traditional medicinal practices to treat their HIV/AIDS symptoms.
